About Us

Anthony Knight is a United States military veteran who served honorably from the early 1980s through the 1990s as a military engineer. His work often placed him and his unit in the aftermath of conflict, entering areas once the fighting had ended to repair infrastructure, clear hazards, and rebuild what war had left behind.

While these missions were critical, the cumulative exposure to destruction, instability, and danger took a lasting toll. Anthony was honorably discharged from service with a service-connected injury and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Like many veterans, Anthony expected that the transition back to civilian life would come with guidance and support. Instead, he encountered a system that was difficult to navigate, paperwork-heavy, and largely unprepared to meet veterans where they were, especially those living with PTSD. Accessing housing assistance, employment support, and earned benefits required persistence, advocacy, and institutional knowledge he was never given.

Anthony saw firsthand how easily veterans could fall through the cracks, not because they lacked discipline or motivation, but because trauma, bureaucracy, and lack of support created insurmountable barriers. He made a decision: no veteran should be left behind simply because they are struggling with PTSD or the transition home.

He began by helping fellow veterans the way he wished someone had helped him, walking them through forms, scheduling appointments, appealing denied claims, and connecting them to housing and employment resources. What started as informal peer support grew into an organized effort grounded in dignity, persistence, and service.

Today, Anthony’s organization exists to ensure veterans are not alone in navigating the systems meant to support them, and that every veteran has a fair chance to rebuild their life after service.

We believe that no veteran should be left behind because they have PTSD. Those with service-connected injuries deserve the upmost respect, dignity, and care when they return home.
